The big announcement comes just months after Prime Day 2022 and this fall, shoppers can expect thousands of deals across Amazon’s entire site as it kicks off the holiday shopping season with another Prime member-exclusive savings event. 


Like the OG event, which took place on July 12 and 13, the Amazon Prime Early Access Sale will also run for two days and shoppers can expect ever-changing markdowns and discounts during the 48-hour period. This means that avid travelers can anticipate savings on top-rated luggage, gear and accessories, and tech, plus incredible deals on comfy shoes and clothing, outdoor equipment, and so much more.

For the first time in nearly two years, the travel industry is showing huge signs of optimism for a return to pre-Covid-19 levels. As the industry braces for a busy holiday travel season, it’s also looking toward future bookings. And, we benefit from that optimism for a return to travel with some truly great Black Friday travel deals.

We’ve rounded up some of the best deals in the hotel, airline and cruise line space, as well as from online travel agents like Booking.com, Priceline, Expedia and more.

Hilton is having some property-specific deals this Black Friday. For example, at the Hilton Cancun, the all-inclusive resort is offering a fifth night free on stays. Additionally, you’ll get a free upgrade to the next room category. Deals must be booked between Nov. 26 and Nov. 29 for travel between Dec. 1, 2021, and Dec. 22, 2022.

At the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort and Hilton Waikoloa Village, you can get up to 50% off on bookings through Nov. 29. The sale is valid on stays for travel through October 2022.

In Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Hilton is offering discounts of up to 25% at more than 500 participating properties. You must book by Jan. 31, 2022, for stays through May 9, 2022. Participating properties include The Biltmore Mayfair in London, the Conrad Dublin and Hilton Garden Inn Faroe Islands, among others.

While not officially a Black Friday deal, you can still save up to 15% off on stays at select Hyatt properties. America is ready to travel: According to a recent study released by AirDNA, which tracks the performance data of ten million AirBNB and Vrbo listings, demand for short term rentals is up 18% in October from the same period in 2019. And bookings are already soaring for the upcoming holidays. The demand for short-term rentals over Thanksgiving is 38% higher than it was in 2019, and 85% higher than 2020. The lesson: If you’re dreaming of a trip, you may want to book now — you can pursue vacation site Vrbo’s more than two million listings here — but, there’s no reason to overpay. Here we share six pro tips for landing a sweet vacation home, without spending too much.

Consider a new listing

In general, many newer listings on sites like Airbnb and Vrbo may have lower prices, to entice renters. On Vrbo, for example, new hosts offer discounts, which are searchable through a filter, to boost visibility on their listing, says Alison Kwong, a senior public relations manager at Vrbo, who adds that “travelers can filter for homes that offer discounts for longer stays” as well. If you’re worried about a new listing not having any reviews, communicate directly with the host and ask for live videos of spaces, photographs and more. For its part, Vrbo offers a Book with Confidence Guarantee, which protects renters from last minute cancellations or fraudulent listings; Airbnb has a refund policy.

Book your travel further in advance than you’d think …

Generally, the weeks after Labor Day are slower in the short-term rental industry, but that was not the case this year, notes Kwong. “This year has been an anomaly because we’re still seeing high demand for Vrbo vacation homes well into the off-season this fall compared to typical years,” she says. People were already booking houses for over Christmas in July, and demand for vacation homes in December is 15% higher than it was in 2019.
