Whether you’re looking for a budget-friendly stay, or a place where both human and animal guests are truly pampered, we’ve picked the best pet-friendly hotel in every state. Alabama: Staybridge Suites Gulf Shores, Gulf Shores

Staybridge Suites has a very favorable pet policy and the venue is ideally located for trips with an animal companion. It’s a stone’s throw from some of the Gulf Shores’ most beautiful, dog-friendly beaches – including the lakeside strands at Orange Beach Waterfront Park – and it has its own special dog-walking area to boot. Your pet must weigh in at less than 80 pounds (36.2kg).

Alaska: The Landing Hotel, Ketchikan
